In connection with #2 above, In our call he offered advice for our Village project - an approach he took with his consulting work - "This isn't anything you can't do yourself" He derided lifting up himself and strategies like Open Space as holy grails of convening, and rather wanted people to see that we have the power in us already, it's just about getting the courage to get out there and practice.
